After I posted this review i was contacted by a representative from the corporate office. We have been in contact off and on for the past month.

This morning, I met with the builder at the property (and his boss and my realtor). We walked the property all together, and have come to an agreement on what should be done to remedy the back yard (hopefully!) The inside of the house is amazingly beautiful and I cant wait to move in!

Our lender hasn't been an issue since we paid the additional ernest money, and I was able to speak to the builder directly instead of going through the office...which I felt sped up the process of resolving any issues that I came across.

It did take some time and frustration on everybody's part, but I think we will all be happy.

I am currently building a home with this company. We were allowed to actually seal a wall to close off an open room.

They didn't have a problem charging us extra do do it. They did, however, have a MAJOR issue with us using a non-preferred lender. I was actually told by their property agent, Gina, that it really wasn't our choice as to which lender we used. We were willing to pay the extra funds in ernest money for not using the preferred lender, but when Gina called me at 445pm to ask for it, she told me that my contract would be cancelled if it wasn't received by close of business.

Also, when they graded the lot, they pushed all of the dirt into a giant pile in the back yard and arent planning on moving it-they just want to sod right over the top-which leaves me with an unusable back yard that will cost me thousands to remedy. Anytime you ask them a question, the answer is "no", period.

They are difficult to work with, but their homes are beautiful! I'll be so glad when this headache is OVER!
